E-Labels are smart wireless digital displays developed by E-Label Solutions. Using low-power BLE technology and high-visibility e-ink screens, they replace traditional paper labels to show real-time information such as pricing, promotions, inventory status, patient details, or room assignments. The system can operate fully as a standalone solution with its own cloud platform, making it ideal for businesses without ERP, POS, or WMS systems. For customers with existing software, E-Labels integrate easily via API calls, allowing automatic updates directly from your system for maximum accuracy and efficiency. E-Labels are powered by long-life batteries and use e-ink technology that consumes power only when updating the display. Under normal usage (approximately two updates per day), batteries typically last 5–7 years. Less frequent updates result in longer battery life. Batteries are replaceable on most models. When power is exhausted, the label continues to display the last image. This makes E-Labels a sustainable, low-maintenance replacement for paper labels.

Updates are typically delivered within 30 seconds per label in normal conditions. Bulk updates across thousands of labels can be completed in under 2 minutes using scheduled or triggered campaigns. The system supports both immediate and scheduled batch updates.

Most models support full-screen text, images, barcodes, QR codes, and promotional layouts. Higher-end models offer up to 6 colours (black, white, red, yellow, blue, green) with 300–400 dpi resolution. On-board flash memory allows each label to store multiple pre-loaded templates for instant local switching.

Labels continue to display the last successfully received image indefinitely. The system stores pending updates locally on the gateways and automatically syncs once connectivity is restored, ensuring no data loss or manual intervention is required.
